How do I crop pages of a PDF for free?

Does cropping delete the off-page content?
In PDF files, cropping sets the visible boundary (CropBox) without deleting the underlying graphics streams. While this hides the cropped areas in readers, the hidden data is technically still in the file. If you need to redact confidential information, please use our dedicated Redact PDF tool instead.
Can I crop each page differently?
Yes. Turn off the 'Apply crop to all pages' checkbox, select pages individually using the navigation arrows, and adjust the bounding box for each page before saving.
